Installers & Suppliers
Join the delivery backbone of WE Share Community Power.
WE Share is building a locally led, nationally credible community energy network — and we’re inviting all qualified, values-aligned solar installers, electrical specialists, and product suppliers to step forward now to bring their systems, skills, and solutions into the WE Share framework and help get clean power operating where it’s needed most.
Who we’re looking for
- SEANZ-accredited solar installers and electrical contractors who share WE Share’s community-first ethos.
- Equipment suppliers, technology providers, and logistics partners committed to transparency, safety, and long-term reliability.
- Innovation partners able to integrate monitoring, data, or flexibility tools aligned with open, community-owned models.
- Both Waiheke-based and off-island SEANZ-accredited installers and suppliers — WE Share recognises the experience, diversity, and products that external partners bring, and welcomes early contact to explore fast integration into the Community Power Project.
Why participate
- Help deliver New Zealand’s first community-powered energy project proving that local generation and sharing can work at scale.
- Be publicly recognised as a Pilot Delivery Partner contributing to island-wide resilience and carbon reduction.
- Installers and suppliers who join now will help deliver the first wave of systems across Waiheke — gaining direct project involvement, visibility, and trusted-partner status as the Community Power Project scales.
- Access shared learning, open-data insights, and collaboration with academic, regulatory, and commercial partners.
Requirements
All participants must:
- Hold current SEANZ accreditation, or be working directly under, or in training with, a current SEANZ-accredited member or partner organisation.
- Adhere to AS/NZS 5033, 4777, and 3000 standards.
- Sign a Partner Delivery Agreement confirming alignment with the WE Share Community Power Foundation documents.
- Commit to open communication, quality assurance, and safety practices.
