This guide is designed specifically for solar suppliers interested in contributing to the WE Share pilot and beyond. Whether you provide panels, batteries, inverters, or system design support, this document outlines how we work, what matters to us, and how to engage meaningfully.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

WE Share welcomes all suppliers who offer high-quality, technically sound equipment suitable for distributed community energy projects. Participation is not limited by company size, history, or affiliation — we are open to innovation, diversity, and fair access, provided the products and services meet our performance, technical, and compliance standards.

We invite suppliers who:

  • Offer technically sound and proven products suitable for community-scale distributed generation
  • Are open to co-designing solutions that meet local needs
  • Are willing to operate within a cooperative-aligned pricing and engagement model
  • Support training, knowledge-sharing, or local economic participation
  • Are transparent about certifications, warranties, and support pathways
 HOW WE WORK
  • Pilot-First: Initial installations are part of a pilot utilizing solar equipment with clearly defined technical parameters
  • Local Installers: We prioritise engaging local workforce, supporting local suppliers, and fostering upskilling pathways
  • Shared Specifications: We co-develop a reference installation framework to guide consistency
  • Accountability: Suppliers are expected to uphold WE Share’s delivery values, and respect all community and technical review processes
